Family Sitcom ‘One Day At A Time’ With Rita Moreno-Led Latino Cast

Netflix has given a 13-episode direct-to-series order to a reboot of Norman Lear’s “One Day at a Time,” the classic sitcom that ran from 1975 to 1984. The new version will feature Rita Moreno and a predominantly Latino cast.

As with the original, the upcoming series will feature a divorced woman pursuing a career while raising two children and befriending a building manager (with whom she has a platonic relationship). IndieWire
