George Takei Sounds Off On Transgender Bathrooms
Space may have been the mission for George Takei’s visit to the Space Coast this weekend, but the LGBT activist and social media superstar didn’t mind sharing his thoughts on other issues near and dear to his heart.
While hosting Buzz Aldrin’s Apollo 11 anniversary gala Saturday night for Aldrin’s ShareSpace Foundation, Takei told FLORIDA TODAY that the transgender bathroom issues are “ridiculous.”
The actor best known for playing Mr. Sulu on the original TV series “Star Trek” has more than 9.8 million fans on Facebook and almost 2 million Twitter followers. He routinely posts puns and humorous musings and occasionally uses those platforms to spark a conversation. Read more at Florida Today.
